YGC Club Rules

Although our club is very relaxed and enjoyable it is important that we have rules for all of our health and safety. Shooting is a very fun but dangerous sport so when coming to the club we advise you to follow the following rules. We do keep on top of these rules and if we see you breaking them we will politely come and speak to you.

• Please wear all PPE when on the shooting ground, this includes a Hat, Ear defenders and eye protection. (This is available in the club house) 

​

• When the red flag is flying it means that there is shooting in progress.

​

• There is no loading of weapons in the club house at anytime. 

​

• whilst walking around the ground please ensure that your weapon is not loaded and cocked so others can see it is safe. 

​

• Please be aware at all times of falling clays around the shooting club, including coming up from the car park to the club. 

​

• Please do not operate or go near a trap unless you have been trained by a member of YGC staff.
